Purchases
Pay on exit - payments can be made using the machines located within the car park or at the main reception lobby within the hospital. When you're ready to leave or at the barriers on exit. Payment machines accept card/cash and contactless.

Blue Badge Holders
Free parking can be obtained by scanning the Blue Badge at the payment machine when you are ready to leave the car park. Please input your vehicle registration into the payment machine, followed by scanning the barcode on the Blue Badge to register the parking session

Motorcycle Parking
Motorcycle parking is available.

Staff Parking
Staff permit parking is available.

Please Note: Standard permit Spaces are offered on a first come, first served basis and a permit does not guarantee a parking space. Reserved Parking Spaces are only valid for holders of a reserved parking space permit. Please note Standard permits are not valid in these bays which are identified by the blue line on the bay marking. Further details can be obtained by contacting the onsite permit team. Car park relocation on the Royal Bournemouth Hospital site
In order to enable the important work the new BEACH Building and main entrance works on the RBH site, a number of car parks have been relocated. Please allow plenty of time before your appointment to travel due to the demand for parking.

Patient and visitor parking
Visitors can park to the rear of car park P3 at the back by the Eye Unit and Derwent Centre.

Blue badge holders can use car park P2, at the side near the Diabetes and Endocrine Centre. There is a small car park P1 in front of the Rehabilitation and Dorset Prosthetic Centre entrance. This car park is for blue badge holders.

There is a ticketless number plate recognition system on entry of car park P3.

Before you leave, you should enter your full and correct vehicle registration and pay at the pay station before returning to your car. Payments accepted: debit/credit cards and cash.

Drop-off locations: There are drop off and pick up areas at the Emergency Department and west wing main entrance at the rear of the hospital. Waiting is strictly limited to 20 minutes and cars must be parked in designated areas.

Bicycle parking
Available with various bike shelters and stands located in the car parks, and motorcycles may be parked free of charge in designated spaces.
