Welcome to West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway Parking
Ways to Pay and Register at West Midlands Trains. Only available at Automatic Number Plate Recognition Station Car Parks.
Station car parks across the West Midlands Railway and London Northwestern Railway locations now use Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) technology, which allows for more payment options.
The installation of ANPR technology across the West Midland Trains locations has made these cashless car parks. You can now pay for parking in the following ways:
- The Saba Parking UK app
- Website – www.sabaparking.co.uk
- The machine(s) located within the car park (where applicable)
- Late Pay is only available at ANPR station car parks. Allows you to pay up until midnight on the same day.
Permit holders will only require an e-permit, you will not receive a physical permit to display in your vehicle. For more information on e-permits please scroll down the page.
Key benefits are:
- No longer worry about losing or forgetting to display your permit
- Amend your own permit when wishing to use an alternative vehicle
- e-permits can be purchased to start on the same day
- No need to return your permit upon change (of your details) or cancellation
Blue Badge Holders
Blue Badge holders will still be able to park free of charge but must register for a free parking permit, as described on our Blue Badge Portal. You must register prior to or on the same day as parking on the Blue Badge Portal.

Staff Permits
Staff Permit applications/renewals and updates are managed by West Midlands Trains facilities. If you are a West Midlands Trains or London Northwestern Railway employee, please contact your line manager.
What is an (electronic) e-permit?
e-permits can be purchased online up to 30 days in advance or upon arrival to the car park.
Purchases made on the day must be made within 10 minutes of parking to avoid receiving a Parking Charge Notice/Penalty Notice being issued. The full and correct vehicle registration details must be provided, in order to make the purchase valid.
An e-permit does not need to be displayed within your vehicle. Your vehicle registration number will be automatically recognised during our patrols / via the ANPR system.
Purchasing or obtaining a permit via the Saba app / website does not guarantee you a parking space.
For more details, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions
How do I purchase an e-permit?
e-permits can be purchased online (www.sabaparking.co.uk) and/or via our Saba Parking UK App. First you will be required to create an account, followed by making the relevant purchase. For more details, please visit our Frequently Asked Questions
How do I update my e-permit?
To update your permit, please first add the new vehicle to your app account under “My Account”, “My Vehicles”. Then please go the ‘Active tab’ after selecting ‘My Activity’, where you can find your upcoming/active booking. Click on the down arrow on the right hand side of the product and then click on the Edit icon next to your VRM, where you will be able to choose another vehicle from your account.
Please note: This must be done prior to using the parking facilities
How do I cancel my e-permit?
Permits are sold on the basis that a space is not guaranteed. As such, these are sold at a discounted rate. If the car park cannot be used due to being full or not having available spaces, a refund is not provided on the basis that the remaining duration of the permit would still equate to a greater value to that paid for the permit.
If a permit is surrendered prior to expiry, a refund may be due (deducting the full cost of parking used). Please immediately contact the Customer Support Team, so that the permit can be cancelled and any remaining balance, refunded.
Our customer support team can be contacted via the Contact Us pages. Please provide your booking details such as Date of booking, Location, Vehicle Registration and how the booking was made (Saba App, Website etc).
