Saba has a wealth of experience in car park management. Our approach is that excellent people, systems and sub-contractors are supported by excellent communication between ourselves and our clients. Our management model is based upon four cornerstones; leadership; partnership; continuous improvement; performance management and reporting.

 

Car Park Management

Extensive experience within the public sector, with often demanding, diverse or niche requirements, high footfalls, and high customer focus – means we are truly a partner of choice to optimise car parking management services for you.

Our significant sector experience coupled with industry knowledge has helped Saba develop a series of robust, proven processes and procedures. We have extensive knowledge of implementing tariff changes, performing software upgrades, hardware modifications and complete remodelling to meet the client requirements. Many contracts include the provision, installation and maintenance of car parking equipment and technology. This has either been at the commencement of a contract or a refurbishment project during the life of the contract.

Saba has excellent, long standing partnerships with major suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing for both the supply of equipment and long-term full maintenance contracts. We can procure a range of equipment on behalf of a client such as payment machines, barrier solutions and ANPR cameras, and can assist in designing the most effective service provision incorporating new technology as it is released. Our employees on the ground are best placed to perform daily checks and deal with first line maintenance issues. However, we will also have full maintenance agreements in place with our suppliers to ensure any potential downtime or inconvenience for customers minimised.

 

Design, Build, Finance and Operate

Saba is a significant infrastructure partner of the NHS and has delivered complex design, build, finance and operate (DBFO) projects for our clients. These include multi-storey car parks at Addenbrooke’s, Lister and Gloucestershire Royal hospitals.

We have also successfully delivered parking assets to NHS ownership after the expiry of long-term concession agreements. We built and ran car parks for more than 20 years at three locations. Each of them was returned to partners, in a pre-determined condition B compliant condition. The management of these obligations requires robust systems and supply chain management. We have a three-stage approach to asset management, maintenance and asset tracking and reporting in line with SFG20 standard. This ensures that any assets managed on behalf our of clients will be properly maintained.

Our multi-storey car park at Addenbrooke’s hospital is the first in the UK to hold a Park Mark Plus award and has received further recognition from the Department of Health by means of a Good Practice Case Study.
