Car Park/Parking Areas Terms and Conditions

Our car parks and surrounding areas have specific terms and conditions in place to ensure safe navigation for both vehicles and pedestrians, while also protecting designated spaces for certain users. It is the responsibility of motorists to comply with these terms; failure to do so may result in a notice being issued.

Please be aware that the Blue Badge Scheme is intended for Council on-street parking only, and all terms and conditions set out by Saba on the signage still apply to Blue Badge Holders; including the prohibition of parking on double yellow lines at any time.

Below are examples of terms and conditions you may encounter, along with their meanings.

Vehicles are permitted to stay a maximum of 20 minutes. Once this time has expired, the vehicle must move on.

Vehicles are permitted to stay a maximum of 4 hours. Once this time has expired, the vehicle must move on and not return within 4 hours.

Only Ambulances are permitted to park in this area / bays

Only Blue Badge Holders are permitted to park in these bays. A valid Blue Badge and time clock must be displayed in the front windscreen at all times whilst parked

Only Community Midwives are permitted to park in this area / bays; And must hold a valid permit for the vehicle parked

Only consultant paediatricians are permitted to park in this area / bays; And must hold a valid permit for the vehicle parked

Only authorised Delivery Vehicles are permitted to park in this area / bays

Only Electric vehicles are permitted to park in this area / bays; And must be charging for the duration of their stay.

Only motorcycles are permitted to park in this area / bays

Vehicles are not permitted to park in a manner which obstructs other users of the area / car park.

Vehicles are not permitted to park or stop at any time in this area

Only Electric vehicles holding a valid staff permit are permitted to park in this area / bays; And must be charging for the duration of their stay.

Blue Badge parking is free only if parking within a Blue Badge Bay (Charges apply elsewhere in the car park). A valid Blue Badge must be displayed in the front windscreen at all times whilst parked. Parking must be registered at the payment machine.

Only licensed Taxis are permitted to park in this area / bays; And must be charging for the duration of their stay. The maximum stay within the car park is 1 hour.

Single Yellow lines
Double Yellow lines
Singe Red lines
Double Red lines
Cross-hatched areas
Landscaped areas

Terms apply to Blue Badge Holders also

Vehicles must be parked within a marked bay only; And nowhere else within the area / car park

Payment for parking must be made by using the PayByPhone service upon arrival to the car park; At the beginning of the parking session

Only Trust Pool vehicles are permitted to park in this area / bays

Car Park/Parking Areas Terms and Conditions

Terms and Conditions apply 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Saba Park Services UK Limited ['Saba'] are authorised to operate parking enforcement services in this car park/parking area for and on behalf of the landowner. References to 'we', 'us' and 'our' refer to Saba [and, where relevant, its employees and agents]. 'You' and related expressions refer to the person driving the relevant vehicle into the car park/parking area and [where relevant] other persons whose activities are subject to the terms and conditions of use.

The following charges are payable for breaching the terms and conditions of use. You agree to pay consideration in the form of a Parking Charge of up to £100, to be paid within 28 days of the date of issue. This Parking Charge will be reduced by up to 50% (see details on notice for further details as some discounted rates are 40% only) if paid within 14 days of the date of issue. You will be liable for additional parking charges for each and any subsequent 24-hour period [or part thereof] that the vehicle remains in the car park/parking area in breach of the terms and conditions of use. Any subsequent enforcement action may incur additional costs that will be added to the value of the Parking Charge and for which you may be liable. Saba monitors the car parking facilities and may enforce the terms and conditions of use either remotely and/or by manned solution. Vehicles and/or property are left entirely at the risk of the owner/driver and no liability will be accepted by the landowner or Saba for any loss or damage. The terms and conditions of use [including the parking tariffs] are in force 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Appealing a Parking Charge or Penalty Notice:

Any Parking Charge appeal must be made online to www.appeals.sabaparking.co.uk or in writing to the address below within 28 days of the date of issue. Appeals should be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of parking.

Disputes pertaining to the aforementioned appeal process maybe referred to an independent appeals service. Details of which will be supplied by Saba should an appeal be received in writing and subsequently rejected in accordance with Saba's terms and conditions of contract. Data Protection Rights:

By entering this car park/parking area, Saba will be capturing your details and recording your vehicle registration number where Automatic Number Plate Recognition [ANPR] cameras, CCTV and/or parking attendants are in use. Saba's legal basis for capturing your data is to uphold the contract and for legitimate interest. Saba process this data and any data provided by the car parking area's permit system to verify the terms and conditions of use have been complied with.

This information may be used by Saba to request the registered keeper details from the DVLA and or other sources, where necessary, for the purpose of Parking Charge enforcement. In certain circumstances, the registered keeper may be liable for charges which you incur for breaching these terms and conditions of use.

Personal data may also be shared with our trade association, collection agents, insurers, law enforcement authorities, other sources and/or solicitors for this purpose or in connection with any criminal activity.

Parking Charges may be issued to the registered keeper by post, attached to the vehicle's windscreen or handed to the driver by or on behalf of Saba, as the Creditor.

Under Data Protection Law and in relation to the data that we hold on you, you have the right to be informed, right of access, right of rectification, and right of erasure, right to object and right to restrict processing.

You may have these rights, but Saba may have the right to disagree.
