Electric vehicles
Free only when charging in the electric bays for maximum of 4 hours at any time within a 24 hour period.
7-day Special Visitor’s Parking Dispensation Permit
Valid for the whole 7 days ONLY in the normal visitor's bays from the day the £15.00 ticket was purchased. Permits are issued for visitors of patients at CUH who in the opinion of the medical team need to spend time at the hospital more than normal visiting hours to be with a seriously ill person admitted in a ward. Purchase a daily ticket via the Saba Parking app on the website. Or at payment machines within the car park.
24-hour Labour Ward / Birthing Centre Patient Parking Permit dispensation
Valid ONLY up to 24 hours from the time ticket was purchased in the normal visitor's bays. Permits are issued by the Labour ward/birthing centre/labour reception staff to the partner of the pregnant patient on the day. Purchase a valid parking session via the Saba Parking app on the website. Or at payment machines within the car park.
Dolphin Unit Parking Dispensation Permit
Valid ONLY up to midnight from the day the ticket was purchased in the normal visitor's bays. Permits issued by the Dolphin Unit staff via appointment letters. Purchase a valid parking session via the Saba Parking app on the website. Or at payment machines within the car park.
Cardiac rehab parking dispensation permit
Valid ONLY up to midnight from the day the ticket was purchased in the normal visitor's bays. Permits issued by the Cardiac rehabilitation department staff on the day and give the select few frequent ones these permits in their appointment letters.
Renal Dialysis Patient Parking Permit
Free only in the designated renal patient parking bays. A valid permit issued via the Renal Department must be displayed in the front- windscreen at all times when parked.
Paediatric Overnight Parking Dispensation Permit
Free only in the normal visitor's bays between 17:00 to 08:45. This FREE permit is ONLY for a parent/guardian of a paediatric (under 18) patient at CUH who in the opinion of the medical team needs to stay overnight in the hospital. Permits are issued via the Paediatric Emergency Department or Children Rainbow Ward staff.
Blue Badge Holders
Disabled visitors may park for free for up to three hours in designated disabled bays. Spaces are occupied on a first come first served basis and cannot be reserved. Blue Badge Holders must display a valid Blue Badge card and clock in the front windscreen of their car at all times when parked within a Blue Badge bay. Blue Badge Holders may not return to another disabled bay within two hours.
