The hospital is located on Standing Way at the junction of the H8 and V8 on the Milton Keynes grid system. The hospital is signposted from the M1, A5, A421, A422 and the city centre.

 

Visitor Information

The visitor information listed below will provide you with all the services and amenities that you will need when visiting Milton Keynes University Hospital.

Please be aware that the hospital site is an entirely smoke-free site. All forms of smoking (including vapours and e-cigarettes) are not permitted anywhere on the hospital site, including the car parks. Thank you for your support in creating a healthier environment for our staff, patients and visitors.

 

Useful Information

  • Visitors are limited to a maximum of two people per bed at any one time. Short visits are less tiring for patients. Visiting times have been set so that patients can rest and receive their care in private
  • Visitors may be asked to leave the ward due to protected meal times, clinical needs or emergencies
  • Mobile phones, cameras and camcorders must not be used on ward areas
  • Children under 13 years of age are welcome to visit, but they should be accompanied by and remain the responsibility of an adult visitor. Please be considerate of other patients by supervising children always
  • Free public Wi-Fi is available in all areas of the site

Car parking for staff, patients and visitors at Milton Keynes University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is available across the site.
Patient and visitors can use the following car parks: A, B, C, D and E. The car parks have been located across the whole site to minimise the distance required to reach your intended destination. Disabled parking is available in all.

Please take care when using the roads around the hospital. Be mindful of people crossing the roads at zebra crossings around the site. The speed limit around the hospital is 20mph.

The car parking facilities are available for out-patients, visitors and staff, daily. There are various car parking locations around the hospital for disabled users, who have a Blue Badge, please see Car Parks below for more detail.

Saba Park Services UK Limited (‘Saba’) are authorised to operate parking enforcement services in this car park/parking area for and on behalf of the landowner. References to ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refer to Saba (and, where relevant, its employees and agents). ‘You’ and related expressions refer to the person driving the relevant vehicle into the car park/parking area and (where relevant) other persons whose activities are subject to the terms and conditions of use.

The following charges are payable for breaching the terms and conditions of use set out above: You agree to pay consideration in the form of a parking charge in the sum of £70, to be paid within 28 days of the date of issue. This parking charge will be reduced to £40 if paid within 14 days of the date of issue. You will be liable for additional parking charges for each and any subsequent 24-hour period (or part thereof) that the vehicle remains in the car park/parking area in breach of the terms and conditions of use. Any subsequent enforcement action may incur additional costs that will be added to the value of the parking charge and for which you will be liable. Saba monitors the car parking facilities and may enforce the terms and conditions of use either remotely and/or by manned solution. Vehicles and/or property are left entirely at the risk of the owner/driver and no liability will be accepted by the landowner or Saba for any loss or damage. The terms and conditions of use (including the parking tariffs) are in force 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Appealing a Parking Charge Notice:

Any Parking Charge Notice appeal must be made online at www.appeals.sabaparking.co.uk or in writing at the address below within 28 days of the date of issue. Appeals should be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of parking.

Disputes pertaining to the aforementioned appeal process maybe referred to the ‘Parking On Private Land Appeal Service’ (POPLA); details of which will be supplied by Saba should an appeal be received in writing and subsequently rejected in accordance with Saba’s terms and conditions of the contract. Data Protection Rights:

By entering this car park/parking area, Saba will be capturing your details and recording your vehicle registration number where Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras, CCTV and/or parking attendants are in use. Saba’s legal basis for capturing your data is to uphold the contract and for legitimate interest. Saba process this data and any data provided by the car parking area’s permit system to verify the terms and conditions of use have been complied with.

This information may be used by Saba to request the registered keeper details from the DVLA and or other sources, where necessary, for the purpose of Parking Charge Notice enforcement. In certain circumstances, the registered keeper may be liable for charges which you incur for breaching these terms and conditions of use.

Personal data may also be shared with our trade association, collection agents, Insurers, law enforcement authorities, other sources and/or solicitors for this purpose or in connection with any criminal activity.

Parking Charge Notices may be issued to the registered keeper by post, attached to the vehicle’s windscreen or handed to the driver by or on behalf of Saba, as the Creditor.

Under Data Protection Law and in relation to the data that we hold on you, you have the right to be informed, right of access, right of rectification, and right of erasure, right to object and right to restrict processing.

You may have these rights, but Saba may have the right to disagree.

Staff Parking

Staff with a current parking permit need to apply for a new e-permit. Without a new permit, you won’t be able to access parking.
