New Parking Enforcement Contract and Permit System – Effective from 1st October 2025

Introducing the Zatpermit System. From 1st October 2025, the current online permit system will be replaced by Zatpermit, a new platform designed to be more user-friendly and easier to navigate. 


Residents will be able to use Zatpermit to:

- Purchase and manage resident permits

- Book and manage visitor sessions

 

Car park permit holders and season ticket holders will be able to use Zatpermit to:

- Purchase and manage their permits or season tickets

Resident Parking Permits

There are thirteen controlled parking zones (areas where you can only park in certain designated bays) in Dacorum. To park in these areas, you must display a valid permit or visitor parking session.

Parking permits

If you live in a controlled parking zone area and your address qualifies, you can:

- Buy one permit per person, and

- Up to a maximum of three permits per property for vehicles registered to your address.

 

Permit prices (Annual)

- £40 for the first car

- £60 for the second car

- £80 for the third car

- £20 for a motorcycle

- Free for a disabled person’s vehicle
