Concessions
Blue Badge Holders: We have 64 Blue Badge spaces within the MSCP on Level 4 and all floors above. These spaces are located near the lifts and wheelchairs are located close by to help provide easy access.
Level 6 has automatic doors to help those with mobility problems. We have a small number of Blue Badge Spaces available around the hospital site, for those who might need to park away from the hospital.
Blue Badge holders do not need to pay for parking. If you are a Blue Badge Holder, please ensure you clearly display the clock part of your Blue Badge on the dashboard of your vehicle – the clock should be set to show the quarter hour period during which you arrived. Please take the barcoded section of your Blue Badge with you when attending the hospital. Before returning to your vehicle, please enter your details at the pay machines, located in the hospital entrance, and scan the barcode which will then validate your parking, free of charge.
Alternatively, you can scan the barcode of your Blue Badge at the exit barrier, which will also let you exit the multi-storey car park, free of charge. If you experience any problems doing this, there is an intercom, which goes through to the Saba Parking Shop, who will be able to assist further.

Concessionary charges: There are also concessionary parking passes available to purchase from the Saba Parking Shop for people who are visiting long stay patients or who attend regular appointments. Please speak to the ward or department to request.

For patients on low-income benefit, a claim for reimbursement under the National Healthcare Travel Costs Scheme can be made. Claims can be made directly on weekdays through the Cash Office, located inside the hospital near to the main lifts to the tower block, or by post using an HC5(T) form.

Frequent outpatient attenders: Free parking will be provided to all outpatients who attend frequent appointments at Lister. In order to qualify, the patient must be attending a minimum of three clinic/treatment appointments per month for a minimum of three months. Attending hospital for blood tests does not count toward the number of appointments. Wards and departments will notify the facilities team so that they can arrange this. The patients name and car number plate will then be sent to the Saba team who will ensure that there is no charge to the patient or visitor.

Parents of sick children staying overnight: Parents of a patient, aged under 18 years of age, who is admitted as an inpatient at Lister Hospital overnight will receive free parking between the hours of 19:30 and 08:00 , whilst visiting the child. This would apply for a maximum of two vehicles.
When ready to leave the hospital, please speak to a member of the nursing team on the ward who will provide you with a voucher to take to the Saba parking shop, located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park. The cost of the overnight parking will be deducted from the cost of your parking.

Blue Badge Holders
Blue badge holders can park for free in the multi-storey car park. Please ensure that you scan your valid blue badge when exiting the car park to obtain a free exit.

Motorcycle Parking
Motorbike parking: We have 14 motorbike parking spaces available in the MSCP that are free of charge. Please note that parking on double yellow/red lines, red hatched areas, area designated for Trust permit holders, or in areas outside of the marked bay, is not permitted at any time.
