Blue Badge Holders: All blue badge car parking is free, there is no time restriction for blue badge holders unless signage indicates otherwise. Blue Badge holders need to comply with signage in each area (including 20 min time restricted bays).

Concessionary parking

The following groups are entitled to free parking:
Resident parents of children in hospital or parents whose babies are being cared for in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Relatives of those patients who are critically ill
Oncology patients attending for treatment
Relatives of patients being cared for on the End of Life Care Pathway
Those who are visiting the bereavement office or collecting a death certificate (must use designated bays outside bereavement office)
Patients who are undergoing a course of treatment who are required to attend the hospital for at least three days a week over the course of three month
Free car parking for carers when looking after patients on a ward or in the Emergemcy Department.

Purchases
Payment can be made by using the machines on-site. Cash, Card, Contactless, Apple / Google Pay Accepted. Payment is made when ready to leave the car park.

Blue Badge Holders
Blue badge parking is free, there are no time restrictions unless signage indicates otherwise. If parking in a barriered car park then you can scan your blue badge on the payment machine to obtain a free exit. When in a non-barriered car park you must have your blue badge clearly displayed.

Motorcycle Parking
Motorcycle parking is available within P1 Patients and Visitors. Motorcycle bays are free to park within. If parked in a standard parking bay then the standard tariff applies.
