A concessionary rate of £2.60 per day applies for:

Patients whose appointment time exceeds four hours due to a long wait in clinic

Parents of a child or young person under 18 (between the hours of 08:00 and 19:00) or birthing partner (anytime).

The main visitor or carer to a critically ill or terminally ill patient on a daily basis (one vehicle only).

A relative visiting a patient on a daily basis for a prolonged period. (exceeding seven days)

The main carer of a patient in the hospital.

Parking is free for:

A patient with a long-term illness or serious condition needing regular treatment, such as chemotherapy, blood transfusions, acupuncture and some other specialised treatments

Visitors to the Bereavement Centre or Chaplaincy Services

Parents of a child in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit or Special Care Baby Unit

Parents of a child or young person under 18 years overnight (between the hours of 19:30 and 08:00)

Purchases
Payment can only be made by cash or card at the payment machines within the car park when ready to leave the car park

24 spaces within our main car park (car park 2)
12 spaces located opposite Accident and Emergency reception
16 spaces located on the road adjacent to main reception and follow round to car park 9 (Physio)
6 spaces within car park 3 (Woodlands, Childrens Unit and Elms)
2 spaces located at the Rehabilitation Centre
These spaces are not chargeable and there is no time limit applied (blue badges are scanned at the exit barrier or at the pay machine to validate parking when leaving car parks 2 and 3)
