Booking Terms
Purchase parking on arrival. Via the Saba Parking app
Via the website or at the payment machines which take cash & card (no AMEX). We’ve even a 20 minutes grace facility for public and disabled drop-off/pick-up that allows you the time to find your parking space.The car parks across the hospital site operate either a Pay or Display or Pay on Exit system. Using the Pay and Display car parks you will need to purchase a ticket and display this in your windscreen before heading off to your hospital appointment or to visit a friend or relative. You can pay by cash credit or debit cards and the Pay on Foot machines will give change. The machines and the payment methods they accept are colour coded as follows: Green – accepts cash only red accepts both credit and debit cards only and yellow accept all payment methods.
There is a 20 minutes grace facility for an ambulance public and disabled drop-off/pick-up that also enables people the opportunity to find a car parking space.
Concessions
If you fall into one of these categories below: please take your signed Form/Carer’s Passport from the senior ward staff on the unit to the Parking Shop located at the Parking Shop close to the General Office off Sandford Road. Where the team will process the exemption for you.
Exemption from parking charges apply in individual cases where parents are staying overnight with children in the Children's Wards; out-patients are having dialysis; radio or chemotherapy or holders of an official Carer's Passport.
Weekly or Fortnightly Parking Permits apply for individual cases where the patient has been an in-patient for 14 days or more; an in-patient of Critical Care Services has been receiving critical care interventions for more than three days and continues to so or if after three days you are diagnosed as terminally ill or you’ve been an in-patient in Neonatal/Special Care for more than three days or you are an out-patient with multiple appointments in one week.
Weekly tickets are £21.50 and fortnightly tickets are £43.00 which is non-refundable.
Blue Badge Holders
Blue Badge Holders can park in any space for free. If, you park within a disabled bay, please ensure you clearly display your vaild Blue Badge card in the front windscreen. If, you are unable to find a vacant accessible disabled space you can park in standard bays and you can gain a free exit by inserting/scanning your entry ticket and then the barcode on the reverse of your vaild Blue Badge card to gain a free exit.
